The Theatre Boulevard In Riga (1913)  by artist Jāzeps Grosvalds (1891-1920)

Jāzeps Grosvalds brought modernism to Latvian art. Grosvalds‘ life was like a meteorite – bright and short-lived with many beautiful paintings left behind. His life was an adventure story, with extensive planned and unintended travels. He often ventured in bohemian lifestyles. Grosvalds hosted numerous parties for the Latvian intelligentsia at his Riga apartment.

Grosvalds died in Paris in 1920.
